Even though I had bought all the earlier 3 Stooges discs, I couldn’t complain overmuch about the new series of (finally) chronilogical releases, given the amount of material you got for a cheap price. And now Amazon is selling the first set for over 50% off. $15 gets you the boys’ 19 shorts from 1934-1936, which is some of their best stuff.
$20 more will also get you the recently released second set, which features 24 shorts. Again, a lot of these are just classic stuff. I know the 3 Stooges aren’t everyone’s bag, but when I watch these shorts, I do find that a bit hard to believe. Great stuff.
