Monster of the Day #727

Uh…no.

  • Ericb

Don King before he had his hair cut.

  • Flangepart

He joined the Hair Club for Men and beat himself over the noggin with it.

  • SteveWD

    Mr Perlman…. it’s a boy!

  • Ken_Begg

    So, so mean.

  • SteveWD

    heh heh heh

  • zombiewhacker

Itzhak Perlman had a boy? I don’t get it.

  • Ken_Begg

Oh, I thought he meant Rhea Perlman.

    (So, so mean.)

I’ve often been puzzled by the fact that monster movie-oatburner crossings have been so rare. I generally enjoy the ones that I’ve seen. As much as I enjoyed being able to see TEENAGE MONSTER, though, even I must say it was a pretty listless affair. Strangely enough, the story may have been more compelling had they decided to play it up as a full western rather than a monster movie. An interesting footnote in the genre, but not a particularly rousing one….

Yet despite the rarity of western/horror crossovers, Chuck Courtney managed to appear in two of them: this film, and Billy the Kid vs. Dracula.

  • Rock Baker

I know that film isn’t held in very high regard, but I loved it.

  • Ken_Begg

It’s a pretty high quality of cheese. I wish someone would make Curse of the Undead a release. I might have seen it when I was a tot, but I have no memory of it past the bit at the end.

  • Flangepart

Ah, and now I remember JESSIE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTINES DAUGHTER. To riff it is to love it.

  • sandra

I thought Ron Perlman (Vincent on the original Beauty and the Beast).
