Monster of the Day #3670

See, the car has no mandatory rear camera.

Man, the editor of this book knew what he was doing. This book probably would have run for years if not for the creation of the Comic Code.

Stupid Comics Code.

  • I was planning to do another virtual B-Fest watchalong this year (we did it the last 2 years and it was fun) and see if anyone else who can't make it would be interested in doing the same while chatting online, but less than 4 days until the kickoff and there is still no schedule up on the website.

    That's a hell of a run-on sentence, oh well.

I do like this year's poster, if someone could pick me up a copy for my movie room (which is a fancified name for the den) I'd be ever-so-grateful.

They do have a little sanctimonious note on the "Connect" page about leaving Twitter for BlueSky, which made we throw up in my mouth a little, so at least they provided me with some horror this year.

  • Don't you hate covers that spoil the entire story?

  • 🐻 bgbear_rnh

I would be interested in knowing if they were passengers or in another vehicle or maybe waiting for a bus.

Does this make him the designated dier ?

  • Eric Hinkle

So, this was a 50's comics version of King's "Sometimes They Come Back"?

  • Ken_Begg

Well, most of these stories were like 8 pages, so there wouldn't be a lot of build-up in any case.

  • Ken_Begg

Jane, I think we have you covered.

The satisfying thing is the hollow, embarrassed thud we're finally getting when remarks like this BlueSky thing are made. I'm sure they still play a tiny bit better on campus, but really, most people aren't even pretending to care anymore. (Paging Selena Gomez.)

So..BlueSky is basically New York in Escape from New York, right?

  • It's what they call "Canada", so when they "move to Canada" after elections they can say they kept their promise.
