A conundrum…

National Lampoon’s Strip Poker is a pay-per-view–‘pay’ in more ways than one, I expect—TV event occurring later this week. Per Entertainment Weekly, it’s hosted by Kato Kaelin and is awarded a grade of F+. (Thank goodness for the ‘+’, or it would sound worthless.) Still, when the phrase, “Boobies abound to the point of boredom,” that’s not a good sign.

However, here’s the metaphysical query raised by all this: What is more likely to put you off; the presence of Kato Kaelin as host, or the phrase “National Lampoon’s” in the title?

  • Kato Kaelin. We already know the “National Lampoon” logo is simply being slapped on to anything in hopes it will stir decades-old memory; the quality of the film is completely independent of the logo. Some people thought Van Wilder was funny; I can’t say not having seen it.

On the other hand, Kato Kaelin can’t be anything other than walking refuse.

I saw it on VOD. It’s actually pretty funny — and the babes are HOT!

One of them is Taylor Kennedy, a Playboy model with INSANELY large boobs. Check it out! Check them BOTH out!

    You’re not fooling us, Kaelin.

  • What puts me off more? Kato, easily. The National Lampoon name once meant the movie might be pretty good (Animal House, Vacation), something Kaelin could NEVER say.
