This mini-series, quite simply, in one of the best things I ever saw, film or TV. I’ve loved Michael Gambon ever since. If you haven’t seen it, and don’t want to buy it, rent it from your local library or Netflix or whatever. Simply smashing stuff. Anyway, at $25 for six hours, 60% off, it’s a great deal.
Amazon has a lot of TV and movie stuff on cheap sale today. If you’re a 21 Jumpstreet fan (who am I to judge?), the first three seasons are all available now for $13 each, 71% off. Seasons 1-3 of Robbie Coltrane’s brilliant series Cracker are $19.50, a tad over half off. The very nice The Fly Collection, featuring the three early the Fly films and extras, is $20, half off.
