For the love of…frickin, *#^(&~@$ Weinstein company…

Let me get this straight…you assholes have been sitting on this damn film for like two years now, and now it’s going to get a limited release that doesn’t include Chicago (DAMMIT!), New York or Los Angeles?!  Fuck you, Weinstein Company.  Here’s a list of the cities that aren’t getting boned by these dildos:

San Francisco
Dallas
Detroit
Atlanta
Houston
Tampa
Miami
Phoenix
Denver
San Diego

Damn man, I’m sorry for ya. That’s weird Chicago isn’t getting a release.

I have to admit, for all its faults, this city does get a lot of these special engagements. We got the original, subtitled Gojira a few years ago as well, and The Host last year, for which I am eternally grateful to the Angelika Theater.
Hopefully I can catch this one, unlike D-War. Maybe I can work up some sort of review for it like I did The Host on the chat board.

No Boston? Seriously? Boston gets nearly everything!

    Ah well, there’s always DVD.

  • “No Boston? Seriously? Boston gets nearly everything!”

Well, it’s not a big college town.

So why wouldn’t they want to release the film in the US’s three largest cities?

And they wonder why I laugh scornfully whenever I get one of those “YOU’RE ELIGIBLE FOR A GREEN CARD!” banner ads.
