Sorry, these links are meant just for me. I always meant to get a Swiss Army Knife, and this $57 one with flashlight is selling for $20 until they run out.  (The Godzilla DVD is to quality for the free shipping.)  Anyway, I’m just building links so I can make a bit of money back from my order.

 I mean, be free to buy a knife too, if you want.  But that’s not the point.

    I know that the Swiss haven’t fought a war for 500 years or so but still, shouldn’t they have camouflaged their knives by now. Red and white makes for a great target.

    $7 for Final Wars? Damn, that’s tempting…

  • Actually, the movie’s only watchable for the Godzilla / monster bits, so I’d never bought the $25 DVD. However, yes, for $7 it seemed worth it, if only to add to my array of Godzilla discs.

  • Don’t badmouth the human aspect of Final Wars. All the martial arts action is a lot more interesting or entertaining then the horrible human parts in the other recent Godzilla movies.

    “Final Wars” was ok I wish King Ceasar got better treatment though.

    To me, Final Wars needed to decide if it was a kaiju film or a mutant ninjas vs. alien invader ninjas film. Sadly, mutant alien ninja won out. I didn’t dislike the latter (especially compared to the human stuff in G x Megaguiras and the two newest Mecha G movies), but I went into the movie expecting the former, so I ended up rather disappointed when it got the short end of the film (although the fight against Ebirah was pretty neat.) Especially considering what was there was rather good, if usually WAY too short.
    I know the big G is King of the Monsters, but someone other than Monster X could’ve given him a good fight. When he stomped the American G in 5 seconds flat, that was entertaining. When he took out Radon, Kingu Seesar and Anguirus in less than a minute, not so much. And don’t get me started on Gaigan cutting off his own head…
    At least Kingu Seesar was around long enough to get short-changed. Poor Hedorah…

    actually ken,if your shopper and seller accounts are linked Amazon will deduct your own purchases from your earnings (after first crediting you for them). There are ways around this of course but they’re pretty good at spotting this sort of thing.
