    The original title was OLD MOTHER RILEY MEETS THE VAMPIRE. It was the last film in a long-running series starring Arthur Lucan as the Old Mother Riley of the title, an Irish washerwoman. The series was based around Lucan’s music hall act. Wikipedia has more information.

    I guess MY SON, THE VAMPIRE is fairly obscure. I remember when I first saw it I thought I was getting in on some rare treat. This was the day of the great big dish, and the film came on one of the channels that could be difficult to signal in on because it was so far off the regular slate. Good times.

    Although his screen test was marvelous, producers of the film version of 50 SHADES OF GREY decided to go with someone a bit younger and a bit less dead.
