It was the last film in a long-running series starring Arthur Lucan as the Old Mother Riley of the title, an Irish washerwoman. The series was based around Lucan’s music hall act. Rock Baker I guess MY SON, THE VAMPIRE is fairly obscure. I remember when I first saw it I thought I was getting in on some rare treat. This was the day of the great big dish, and the film came on one of the channels that could be difficult to signal in on because it was so far off the regular slate. Good times.
