Well, technically, one Godzilla movie, but both Toho King Kong films.
G-Fest, the annual Godzilla fan convention, is being held next weekend (July 6th-8th) in nearby Rosemont. Per usual, they’ve rented out the huge, gorgeous Pickwick Theater in Park Ridge (this venue is *literally* about a hundred yards from the library I work in) to show G-movies on a big, big screen.
Next Friday night, the 6th, at 10:00 PM, they will be showing King Kong Escapes. Then, on the following night, they will show King Kong vs. Godzilla at the same time.
I will be there, and I hope you are too! Maybe we could hit Superdawg after the show.
