  • Goofy movie, yes, but not a total waste of time. Everything is relative, and I saw this film following screenings of junk flicks like SPACE ODYSSEY and PANIC. This film was rather more competent, so I had to give it some respect I might otherwise not have allowed. I’ll likely watch it again some day.

    Also interesting as one of the relatively few science fiction monster movies I’ve seen released under the Cannon label. Cannon seemed more interested in action movies than this kind of genre stuff.

    Contamination, an Italian Alien knock-off.

  • It’s only an Alien rip-off in the marketing. Really it’s a police procedural in which aliens are involved. It is even in the future, when we’ve been to mars.
