UPDATED: T(ween) Fest 2012 Line-Up (mostly)!!

[UPDATE] We will be flipping the showings of Flying Guillotine and Tarkan for the convenience of two charming ladies. Also, Will of Braineater, our special guest B-Master, has chosen Witch’s Mirror as the second movie. You can’t keep those Churubusco movies down, as we will be featuring a pair of them this time around.

Times approximate. Disc issues might lead to substitutions. Beer has been approved, but please, no sloppy drunking, and we request everyone has a designated driver.

    Sandy thought an all-star show would be a nice change of pace. I’m probably going to pick Trial of Billy Jack for the summer…too bad I probably won’t be attending. Oh, well. That’s the way things go sometimes.

    Sorry we’ll be missing this one.  Still hope to make the summer date but it may be another one of my fly-by-night trips.  I am MOBing June 15th for 6 months, and while lucky enough to land a Stateside gig, don’t know if I’ll be allowed any leave to get there early.

    The upside is I should have plenty of money to make another B-Fest trip next year and will have deMOBed again by then.

    One weekend a month, my ass!

    If you’re sending ToBJ for T-Fest, maybe I should delete it off my DVR and just wait until then.

    By the way, I didn’t look at the line-up so I still don’t know what’s going on.  HAHAHAAAA!!!  Stag baby!

    I was joking about ToBJ; even assuming Sandy let me show it, I would never do it when I wasn’t there.

    As for my attendance this summer, we’ll see. However, plane fares are already shooting up, and gas has nearly hit the peak predicted (as hard as that is to believe–it’s up about $.75 a gallon in about three weeks here). We’re not too far from hitting about double what I was paying just a few years ago.

    I am SO going to find some more marshmallow catapults before the next Texas trip.

    We were at a con over the winter where the youngest bought a scale model wooden catapult that straps to the wrist for no other purpose than to shoot marshmallows at unsuspecting passers-by.  Of course the Monday after it hit me that a couple of those would have been T-Fest perfect, but had already lost the guy’s card. Now I have to wait until next year :(

  • No, I don’t travel much. (Plus it always irks me to sit through a movie I like -such as THE KILLER SHREWS- with people who shout comments back at the screen. I’m sure, however, it’s the ONLY way one should see either of the last two Billy Jack movies…)

    These are the times, however, when I am again irked at the State of Illinois for screwing up my Amazon Associates account. It wasn’t a ton of money, but it would have covered a second trip down to Texas.

    Is he just sponsoring a movie, or is he…dare I ask…coming down for TwF2k12?  Either way, it’s big news…but obviously if it’s the latter it’s huge.

    Van Gogh makes awesome Espresso and Caramel vodkas, not sure if marshmallow sounds so good.
