We hope to see you there…and in Dallas this weekend! Saturday’s event will take place at a new venue, 1751 International Pkwy, Suite 115, Richardson TX., 75081. The movies should start circa 10:00 AM. Be there or be square.

    However, I hear you. Rising gas prices translate (surprise!) to rising air fares, and both keep rising steadily. I’ve already informed the Drauts and Sandy that there’s a pretty decent chance I won’t be coming down for the summer Fest.

    I’d agree that a lack of Sandy would be a big derail, but let’s face it, most of us might never have come together, much less held regular fests, if not for you and this site. I would argue your presence is practically required.

    Of course, it feels weird when any regular doesn’t make it. A lack of Mary, Lawyer Chris, Dr. Freex, etc. always feels odd to me. If Chad R. or Guy or Angela or KirknPatty or any of the other regulars didn’t make it, it’d be the same. If I didn’t show up…well, no one’d probably notice, save maybe the two people who seem to like my Fest write-ups.
