Venture fourth!

(Did you see what I did there?  Man, I’m so clever.)

YAY!!  The Venture Bros. return for their fourth season this Sunday night, midnight EST.  (11:00 PM here in Chicago.)  Although I’m sure we’ll only get another very short ‘season,’ this remains my favorite show on TV right, and I can’t wait.

Heck, even if it’s only one episode, it’s still new Venture Brothers, which is always welcome!

    “GO, TEAM VENTURE!!!”

  • Reed

I’m pretty sure that I read that this season will be 16 episodes. I hate that 13 episodes is now considered a “season” for many shows, but higher costs and all that. They do pay sweatshop animators more money these days, don’t they? I thought that I’d heard that they Unionized, but that may have been the drugs.

    In any case… woohoo!

  • There’ll be eight episodes now, a break, and then eight more episodes.

Gee, thanks Ken! Another US-only video link!

Seriously, you have readers in other places, like here, the godforsaken media wasteland known as Canada, and Hulu, Adult Swim and a few other sites block us from seeing their stuff. Putting a link to one of those sites in here without a YouTube or similar alternate is like giving your non-American readers the finger.

    Thanks for nothing!

  • You’re welcome.

Welcome to my world when people link to Youtube, which my work filter blocks. I manage to survive, I’m sure you will too.

  • The Rev. D.D.

I wasn’t able to find it on YouTube, but then I don’t know the name of the episode.

Then I remembered I was trying to help some crybaby who apparently can’t look this stuff up himself, and I stopped caring.

  • For the curious, the name of the episode the clip is from is “ORB”. How do I know this? ‘Cause I watch that episode OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Love it to pieces. That and “The Buddy System” And “Dia de Los Dangerous!”. And…

I probably should just face the fact I’m addicted to this show…

  • I am interested in a lot of non-American shows, and so I get hit with “reverse discrimination” when I try to check out the latest Dr. Who trailer or whatever. They’re not available in the US. Then I have to go to youtube or other fan sites to seek out the hidden gold.

In any case, how on Earth would Ken know that a particular site (which works on his computer) is blocked from view by godless foreigners?
