Am I the only one who finds this a tad creepy?

Isn’t this movie, like the books, basically aimed at jr. high school girls and appealing directly to their burgeoning, largely inchoate romantic/sexual yearnings? So you’re going to appeal to those yearnings, and then offer them and possibly their (hopefully) equally youthful beaus a hotel room for the night? Ick.

Well, I find the whole concept of a relationship between a teenage girl and a blood sucking undead creature being considered as a “new-age love story” to be bit creepy. Then again I never got into the whole goth scene. Will they give the boyfriends a set of plastic fangs?

Google “Twimoms” and get an unsettling revelation.

    It’s not what you think.
The author of the books is a Mormon, you see, and the books themselves have a heavy ‘PREMARITAL SEX WILL OPEN THE LEGIONS OF HELL TO DEVOUR YOU SOUL’ bent to them.
