Thinking of movies, I caught Sinners on Monday. I encourage everyone to check it out. Absolutely excellent, top to bottom. Great story, compelling characters, fine filmmaking…the actors do a great job, although Michael B. Jordan is a standout. Also, I'm getting the soundtrack ASAP. Miles Caton, who was 18 or 19 when they made it (his first movie, no less), sings the blues like someone four times his age. And if you know anything about the blues, you know what a compliment that is. No Informed Attributes here: when they talk about people whose music can attract the spirits at the beginning, as soon as he opens his mouth to sing, you believe them wholly. He has a bright career ahead of him if he wants it, and I hope he wants it.
