Hello! The fellow that has kindly hosted the parties so far has other plans tonight. I asked another person and he was (of course) having computer issues right now. Hosting is super easy, even I could do it no sweat. However, my computer is suuuuuper old and cranky. When we started this I just tried to stream a movie on Amazon and I was getting a lot of buffering issues, which I fear would translate to everyone if I hosted. (And even if they didn’t), I’m be falling behind the stream all the time.)
If anyone has a serviceable computer–that’s all we need–hit me up at ken@jabootu.com. I only work half a day on Fridays so I’ll be back around noon. All you need to do is sign into your Prime account, go to the movie, click on the Watch Party icon. You’ll be given a link, when you just email to our list of people who have expressed interest or attended a previous party. You’d probably want to go this circa 8:45 EST. Then at 9:00 EST standard time just click play to start the movie. It’s pretty basic.
Sorry to ask, I’ll be getting my computer updated at some point and can just do it myself. And if no one can do it, I certainly will, apologizing in advance for any technical issues. However, I went pretty basic in picking the movie, so I think everyone will be happy with that.
