Day the audiences stayed home…

They’re still saying that Keanu Reeves has been cast to play Klatuu in the Day the Earth Stood Still remake.   But that can’t be right, can it?  I mean, surely he’s going to play Gort.  The long stretch of the movie in which Gort is immobilized in a large plastic cube would play to all of Reeves’ strengths as an actor.
