Monster of the Day #722

Zombiewhacker (he must be a busy fellow, what with all the zombies these days) sent me a slew of pics. I think some of them have been used, but there are dozens of neato images here, so let’s have a week of those.

I’m assuming this is from that Mexican knock-off of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein I’ve always heard about but never seen.

  • Flangepart

Her: See, alligator clips, a little high voltage- whats not to love?

Him: Just keep them on the ears, okay?

Other him: Pump up the volume, pump up the volume…

  • Luke Blanchard

It’s from CARRY ON SCREAMING! (1966). It struck me as one of the better CARRY ON films, but I don’t remember it too well. That’s series regular Kenneth Williams in the background.

  • Cullen Waters

Yeah, it’s Carry On Screaming!. Outside the trailer I just watched before writing this, this picture is the only thing I’ve seen of it.

  • Ken_Begg

Cool, the entire film is on Daily Motion.

  • bgbear_rogerh

It is really nice that when you have snooty friends that go on about British cinema you can point to things like this.

  • Rock Baker

Is that supposed to be Frankenstein’s monster or a werewolf? Or both?

  • Eric Hinkle

Maybe the werewolf got killed in the last movie, so his mad scientist friend decided “Waste not, want not” and used him as spare parts for a monster?

  • Marsden

Well, what if you stitched together a monster from dead were-wolf parts, that would be a pretty durable monster, right?

  • Eric Hinkle

Just no silver needles, or else you could have problems.
