Albert Pyun triple bill / personal appearance on March 9th…

I had mentioned this amongst the omnibus post of things happening in Chicago, but Mr. Pyun was kind enough to stop by (!!) and leave a kind note–glad I wasn’t too snarky!–so it seems a bit more of a spotlight of his event is the least I can do. Mr. Pyun was a mainstay of the video rental days, and I can’t imagine this won’t be a spectacular gala.

The Patio Theater in Chicago on 6008 W Irving Park Road will host the event. Info as follows:

The only halfway good movie Albert Pyun ever made was The Sword and The Sorcerer. Granted , the bar isn’t set very high in S&S movies, but he managed to make it look just as good as the original Conan, which came out at the same time, on a tiny fraction of the budget. Plus, I always like Richard Lynch. On the strength of that, I expected better of Mr Pyun than what we got.

FYI, your headline for both events has them on the 10th, not the 9th.
