I pretty much fell in love with Tim Burton when he featured a pretty sly homage to Fiend Without a Face. No joke, just fond memories.

Last night I saw a very brief homage to FWaF on a YouTube clip of “The Ricky Gervais Show.”

Yes, two of her statues come to life during the wedding ceremony.

I saw this long before I saw FwaF. It was years until I made the connection. I was very happy when I did, though. I love FwaF. Some of the best monsters ever.

Not sure you guys had heard but the maker of Fiends Without a Face, Richard Gordon, passed away on November 1.
