Many of these are already on DVD, but here’s a chance to get a good copy of films like The Manster and Killer Shrews.

    Man would I like to see Queen of Outer Space again!

    Do let me know if Village of the Giants is scope. The otherwise fine Metro release is slightly squeezed. Not that it matters, I haven’t been able to talk anyone into taping this stuff for me yet.

    Must say this is the one night I find totally skipable. Can’t say I’m a fan of any of these movies except for 50-Foot Woman, and even then not one I’ve ever had a desire to watch again. Bold movie putting The Killer Shrews on last at 3:45 AM thus assuring the viewing audience will be sound asleep by 4 AM.

    Many thanks! TCM has a good print of The Manster, and I’d sure love to have a super-nice copy of it. If they’re scope, I would also like to upgrade my copies of 50ft Woman and Village of the Giants. Somehow I never got around to getting that pre-record of Mars Needs Women (a better movie than given credit for), and I need Queen of Outer Space in any form. I’d also be interested in upgrading my copy of The Cyclops. If TCM uses the same print TNT aired, it’ll be worth grabbing. I’d really appreciate it if I could get some good copies.

    First and foremost, I’d like a copy of Queen of Outer Space.

    After that, The Manster and The Cyclops.

    Was Village of the Giants scope this time? If so, I also need that one.

    “Village” was in widescreen color. So was “Queen”, though why they went to that expense is another mystery. Due to the time slot “Cyclops” and “Manster” were recorded at LP speed on one disc. However TCM’s quality isn’t all that good so there’s not much difference between SP and LP quality on my DVD recorder, if any. I’ll burn them after I deal with the virus my PC picked up yeaterday… drat.
