Is there skin in it? I’ve only seen the MST3K version. I remember babes in bikinis, that’s it.

Cheesecake, my bread and butter. Maybe I should try to talk someone into doing a comic book adaptation of Horrors of Spider Island?

What I want to know is, is that Alex D’Arcy doing those close-up insert shots?

As to nudity, I still think some might have been shot for that one scene where the guy is being flirted with by all the girls and there’s a slow pan up the body of one girl. There’s an abrupt cut and then there’s two girls there. I’m going to make an educated guess that there may have been a quick topless shot in various European prints.

And what did audiences think when they saw this picture in adults only crowds as It’s Hot in Paradise and there’s suddenly this giant spider roaming around?

Well, the giant spider stuff only takes up a small fraction of the total screen time. I haven’t timed it but I’d swear that the party scene alone takes up more time then all the spider/spider-man material.

The MST3K version of this is actually on Hulu, or at least was the last time I checked. It’s a fun one. Especially when they pointed out just how… boxy he was.
