I am a sick, sick man.

I just came across a vendor selling a 14 disc set of all 113 (!) episodes of Captain Planet on DVD-R for $45, quality “9 out of 10” supposedly, and I almost bought it.

Then I thought for a bare second about what that would portend for my future, and sanity prevailed. Seriously, though, that I even thought about it indicates something very wrong with my brain.

They made 113 of those!?! Yikes!!!

  • Rock Baker

I ran across a tape this summer that had a few minutes of a Captain Planet episode at the end. I couldn’t stand to watch the 45 seconds or so that I sat through. Made me really respect you for sitting through the episode you reviewed, or maybe that was pitty…. Were it not for the sake of the guards, I’d suggest this show be played in an endless loop before captured terrorists. They’d be singing to the authorities after fifteen minutes!

If Ken ever wins the lottery, I can’t imagine what the damage would be.

    “The power is yours!”

  • 113 episodes of ‘Captain Planet’, but only 26 of ‘Swat Kats’?…

    No justice man. No justice.

  • Captain Planet is on DVD. But no Mighty Orbots

    Life just isn’t fair.

  • Cullen: Remember, the Cap’n Planet discs are gray market. Mighty Orbots can be similarly found.

  • John Campbell

By Ken’s checkbook combined! He is…(Luckily you didn’t buy them or I’d of had to use swear words!)

  • Kirk

    T-Fest 2011 – 14 hours of non-stop Captain Planet.

  • John Campbell

    Burn the heretic Kirk!!

    Burn the witch!!

Back to the foul pits that spawned you!

  • @Kirk Thats not a film festival, thats a war crime.

Drat! Foiled again! I shall get Captain Planet into your hands, Ken. I will have my reviews!
