Help me keep The Dream alive, won’t you?

  • I guess you knew I feel obliged to run, IN THEIR ENTIRETY, all the videos you post on your site …

    :(

You think you’re funny, but you’re not. Argh.

Promise me you’ll never play “Vincent”. It’s not too much to ask.

  • Sounds like somebody should himself reach out in the darkness.

Why are you so afraid of thinking things are groovy, Sandy? Why?

  • I must state my displeasure at the thought of adding bad music to Jabootu’s ouevre.

A bad movie can be watched and maybe forgotten. But a bad song … lingers forever in the mind. I CAN’T GET IT OUT.

The words keep repeating. I know i’m going to be humming it in the car all the way home today.

  • It would certainly be worth five bucks to see Sandy Petersen, lightly rocking from one foot to the other as he flosses his teeth before the bathroom mirror in the morning, singing in a mumbling fashion over and over, “I think it’s so groovy now, that people are finally getting together, think it’s wonderful to know, that people are finally getting together…”

  • Ericb

What is it? I don’t get embedded videos for some reason.

  • Mr. Rational

This sounds like what would have happened if Teresa Laughlin had received the benefit of a) a professional recording studio, b) some backup people and bandmates, and c) professional singing and songwriting lessons.

So, I guess it sounds nothing like Teresa Laughlin, then. But the inanity quotient is there. Burros of the world unite!

  • Well I did manage to get it out of my head before brushing my teeth this morning, but you could have seen him singing the damn song in the car almost all teh way home.

I finally was able to defeat this musical virus by singing there choruses of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”. Extreme methods, I know.
