Well, those are some strange women.

Off to Pittsburgh tomorrow. If I have time I’ll go another MotD before I leave, but it’s up in the air. In any case, have a great weekend, everyone. Watch something stupid.

    I think it is a guy but it reminds me that I recall it got named the Amazon because native men were mistaken for the warrior women.

    Thanks! I think I've picked up all the seasonal boxed sets though. They recently released Season 4 for the Fourth Doctor.

    I still don't have any episodes for the Second Doctor though. I wish the BBC would put out seasonal boxed sets here even though GJ said the reconstructed animated episodes were pretty bad.

    I watched the 4K of "The Dark Knight Rises." The one with Bane.

    Tonight's 4K feature is "From Beyond" from Vinegar Syndrome. As I've said, the script really needed several more passes through the word processor before filming, but here we are. It looks and sounds excellent as expected from VS, though that also tends to showcase a number of the flaws…those being John Carl Buechler's creature effects. They look fun, but they're also rubbery and take you out of the movie. It's really well directed, though, for which I don't think Gordon ever got enough credit.
