So, has anyone else seen the ads for a movie titled ‘Civil War’ on TV or elsewhere? It’s supposed to be coming out April 12th. Just looking at it gives me some bad vibes. I suspect it’s going to be so hamfisted lopsided in its politics.

And I really question if ‘more division’ is what is needed right now.

It is how I feel about several recent films. 20-30 years ago it would be an interesting idea and probably an entertaining film. Today it will have a political ax to grind and a lecture.

According to what I’ve read, the heroes are a bunch of “journalists.” So I’m hoping for a real downer ending.
