One day Severin Box Sale set next Saturday…

There are a bunch of those that aren’t really my bag, and I own the ones I really need already (like the Chris Lee sets which are boffo), but still I can heartily endorse those and the mammoth folk lore horror set All Your Haunts Be Ours.

The Andy Milligan set might be the single most comprehensive box set about any film director. Think about that.

  • I’m kind of weirdly drawn to the Milligan set, despite knowing that they will be both creepy in a leering way and generally incompetent. I suppose it’s rather like the morbid fascination of rubbernecking an really gruesome auto accident on I95.

    The Lee and disaster sets sound more like worthwhile purchases, but ….

    OMG, I was confusing him with Spike Milligan! I read the IMDB’s biography of Andy and ack! No thanks!

    Not only that, but it’s only real competition that I can think of is the 32 film Al Adamson set, also from Severin. I’m assuming that’s finally sold out. That might be I regret not getting when it was very cheap.
