Hmm. Serviceable, I guess, but kind of boring. Doesn’t even really establish the giant scorpion thing. Not sure this would have gotten me in the cinema, sans a trailer or something. Luckily, we always have lurid, painted foreign poster art to properly exploit the monster and…..

    I mean, giant scorpion, Mara Corday, I’m gonna be there either way.

    Much like yesterday’s movie, it’s not particularly entertaining when there aren’t critters onscreen. I will say it’s better-paced in that the critters show up throughout instead of really just playing into the climax. And, of course, Corday is great as always.
