Howard the Duck is now available in its entirety at Hulu.
Disney has decided not to fund the third Narnia film, The Dawn Treader. The production company is looking elsewhere for the necessary monies. Good luck to them, it’s a pretty good series.
Arrested Development creator Michael Hurwitz has implied that Michael Cera is the main holdout (hopefully just for the present) for an Arrested Development reunion movie. OK, I can live with that. However, Gilligan’s Island creator Sherwood Schwartz is pushing for a movie version of that old show, and wants Michael Cera to play Gilligan. I can’t imagine Cera, who has made noises about quitting acting entirely, taking on that gig while embargoing an Arrested Development film. However, if he did, clearly he should be kidnapped by somebody like that Saw guy.
I don’t think I was clear enough in my earlier note about Fox winning the first round of court cases in it’s suit against Warner’s Watchman movie (the right to which earlier belonged to Fox). Apparently they still do, because although the judge urged the companies to come to a voluntary settlement, he actually did find that Fox has the right to distribute the film. Who watches the Watchmen? At the moment, nobody.
Goodbye, Eartha Kitt. You were the best Catwoman of them all.
Two trailers. This is a new movie, and I’d love to see it hit theaters:
This actually isn’t a trailer, but preview footage from a comics con. Hence’ the bad quality is it was probably filmed on a cell phone. Far cooler than it has any right to be, though:
