    I watched “Black Roses” from John “Rock N Roll Nightmare” Fasano. Less single-minded and more competent than R&RN, it’s still a lot of fun. But it needed a mid-credits scene where Jon-Mikl Thor shows up at the English Teacher’s house and says “We need to talk. I’m here to talk to you about the Jabootu Initiative.”

    But THE SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE FANTASTIC!

  • Not something stupid, but Sven has Blacula tonight. And we all know how I feel about William Marshall. I watched the Coronation this morning, but it wasn’t stupid either, even though I’m a proud ‘Merican. Fascinating though, especially with the explanations of what all the different items represented.

    William Marshall was awesome. It’s kind of a shame that he’ll be best remembered as the King of Cartoons, but as Gregory Walcott once said, “It’s better to be remembered for something than for nothing, don’t you think?”
