Happy Friday, everyone. Watch something stupid this weekend. B-Fest next weekend (!), and then our little private Basement Fest the following weekend. So my apologizes if I miss some days over the next two weeks or so.

  • Watched Seed of Chucky with one of the boychildren yesterday. Definitely stupid. Also in such bad taste that I’d have bailed if I was on my own. Exactly the sort of thing one want’s to watch with their kid (even one of the adult ones, which this was).

    Casting John Waters in an extended cameo should have been a dead giveaway, but oh, no, not for Jane, who just had to keep blithely wandering on and stub her brain on the giant concrete monument to bad taste.

    Sven had Killer Klowns from Outer Space, which is also stupid, and in similar ways but without the turkey baster. For some reason my Dad loves that movie,

    Killer Clowns was filmed in Santa Cruz county where I lived and some at The Boardwalk seaside amusement park wife and I worked at at the time but for some reason we we not asked to work those nights like we did for some other locally shot films.
