Hmm, on the other hand, a trained ferret killed Rip Torn, so…..

    I still do understand how they managed to “train” those ferrets. We have had ferrets for over 25 years and you are lucky if they do what you want 5% of the time.

    Sandy used to have ferrets (a water hazard, I was always stepping in piddle when I’d get up in the night to attend to my ablutions). I told him that when I was a youngster at a pet show I saw a thing where they put six ferrets in light crimped paper bags and had a race to see which would get out first. It took forever. Racoons they ain’t. Sandy was inspired and we recreated the event with his ferrets with pretty much the same result. Maybe there’s a Houdini of ferrets, but I’ve never seen it.
