If you have a whole afternoon to blow this weekend, you could certainly do worse than to watch the Daimajin trilogy. All three films are (currently) available on YourTube with sweet widescreen subtitled versions. The films are pretty fun.

    Oh you need to watch them. They are magnificent movies. Well, the first two anyway. I saw them years ago on Chiller Theater, and I loved them.

    I really wish they were available on DVD.

  • For movies that basically have the same plot, they vary the details of that plot enough to be most satisfying.

    Shamefully, I haven’t seen any of these. I meant to when they released that great boxed set but never got to it. I need to rectify that.

    I can recommend them. At least the first two, never saw the third. But they are great and weird movies.
