This is actually one of the better second-season episodes. It really is quite atmospheric.

The production folks actually called this monster “The Plag.” So yup!

Yeah, it was mentioned in a guide to the series that it was in fact a rubber glove or two of them or something like that. And for something so simple it was an amazingly effective monster.

Hence his taunting “I’m rubber, you’re glue. What bounces off me, sticks to you”.

They probably had a much smaller budget in the second season.

Much, much smaller. They had to recycle stuff left over from the first season…and even from previous shows in this season, such as a shot of a Sand Shark in this episode.
