Is there any chance that is available as a print anywhere? Thanks for sharing this! Gamera977 Damn, it is pretty friggin’ awesome! Well, all of his work is but this takes it up to eleven! bgbear_rnh Tor looks pretty upset at what Bettie’s heals are doing to the paint on his Impala. Eric Hinkle The scenes in those cars are more horrifying than anything the screen could possibly show! (Seriously? Creature from the Black Lagoon and the She-Creature?) Rock Baker In fact, you still owe me a poster, Ken… Rock Baker THE WAR OF THE WORLDS is one of the Worst Movies Ever? Cullen Waters Depends on which one you’re talking about. Flangepart Ah, yes. Family angst interfering with the screen time for the War Machines. Good call. Flangepart Nice! Okay…the two cars in front of Frank and the Bride…who are they? My eyes too old to squint that hard! bgbear_rnh If you are rooting for the Martians it is a real bummer ;-) Rock Baker There were multiple versions released right about then, direct to video. Considering those, Stevie’s version is a veritable masterpiece. One version tried to set it’s story in the 1900’s. Unfortunately, they lacked the budget even of an early History Channel documentary…. Ken_Begg One is, I think, Heston and Kim Hunter from Planet of the Apes, the other is I Married a Monster from Outer Space and…Svengoolie, maybe? Ken_Begg Specieisit!!! Ken_Begg Again, B-Fest is not a bad film fest, although it features a lot of cheese. There are many films featured here, most arguably, that are really quite good. Eric Hinkle That looks more like the Star Trek ‘Salt Vampire’ with old Svengoolie. He would doubtless make a joke about how much this all sucks before she polished him off. Flangepart Now ya say it, Sven. Cause the hat nails it. Rock Baker Just going by the advert… Eric Hinkle Can anyone identify the two blob-things going at it in the car right in back of Tor? Cullen Waters I could easily be mistaken (this has been the post for that), but were I to hazard one I’d guess they’d be the Blob and the Stuff. Eric Hinkle Thanks. Never saw ‘The Stuff’; I thought it was some sort of ‘evil corporation poisoning their customers’ movies, not a “Blob” film. The Rev. Well, it’s kind of both, so you were not exactly wrong.
