Monster of the Day #1489

As things go along more ‘varient’ Titans show up. In a lesser show this would seem like “do whatever we want” laziness. Here it just adds to the unsettling feeling that nobody understands what the hell these things’ deal is.

Watch now as the south east asian anaconda elf unhinges its jaw to swallow its prey.

    Ditto…Japan you are DISTURBED!

  • And everything you find out about the Titans make them just that much worse… Yeesh.

(Trying not to say anything spoiler-ish for those that haven’t seen it yet.)

Yeah. For example, they briefly address how they can move about despite their size…which then makes the actions of later variants more plausible, so instead of coming off silly it’s even more horrifying.

I like how this is probably the least disturbing Titan in the series thus far, simply because it always looks like this, instead of having expressions.

You telling me the underwear vending machines and the cucumber flavored 7Up didn’t do it for you? Anime monsters were the tipping point?
