It’s pretty fun, although not for the squeamish as there’s a bit of general gore and a lot of icky squishing tick effects and air bladder work. All practical effects, too, and pretty good overall, with one really good one near the end (and to balance, a couple of real howlers, also towards the end).
I haven’t seen it in years, hence my not remembering it from Friday’s MotD.
I loved Ken’s caption for today’s. Neat-looking critter, although why it’s purple I have no clue.

These car insurance ads are just getting way out there! I hope after the Magenta Monster helps this poor guy with the insurance from his accident he then eats the Geico lizard and that annoying Regressive woman.

The setting reminds me of places I’ve been, so I particularly like the mix of reality and unreality in this one.
