While not the most visible character actor, he was quite active during the 60's-80's. He worked on seemingly thousands of television shows, and his work is far to exhaustive to chronicle here. Jabootu readers will likely remember him for two particular roles, though. He provided the voice of Aquaman on the long running Superfriends cartoons of the 70's. On camera, he played Dr. Felix Heflin, the guy who monitored all the adventures of Electra-Woman and Dyna-Girl (where he can be seen sporting some truly hideous neckties). That barely scratches the surface of his work, though. I'll always fondly recall him as the guy in TORA! TORA! TORA! who's bomber crew unexpectedly flies into the war. Rest well, Mr. Alden, you've earned it!
