Watching the new GAMERA flicks, I came to a thought. If a movie character does something, and/or defeats an enemy with a previously unknown, even unhinted at ability (Gamera can open up his chest and fire an Alpha strike?) I think I have a proper term for that...

TR: I think I remember Pumaman being able to fly too. Pumas can jump but I don't remember any big cat with the power of flight that I know of.
