These pictures are from an awful 80s movie I last saw more than 25 years ago but which had such a stupid ending that I remember it vividly to this day.

It was like they started out making an Alien ripoff but then 2/3 of the way through they decided to switch to an E.T. ripoff but didn't bother to change the alien so at the end of the thing you kind of have whiplash.
