It feels silly to say this, considering how inactive I’ve been, but if I seem even more out of touch than usual for the next, oh, ten days or so, it’s because it’s time to get ready for B-Fest.
I’ve waited way too long to get started, so my ‘hospitality’ is going to be even lamer than usual for the poor souls who get stuck staying at my house next weekend. But I’ve got a lot of shopping and prepping and ‘cleaning’ (i.e., rearranging my despair-causing mountains of junk) to make enough room for people to even get a sleeping space.
On the other hand, B-Fest plus Superdawg, L&L Snack Shop and Gino’s, so there’s that.
Anyhoo, at some point things will pick back up. I should be able to get some writing down the week after the Fest. Which is good, because I’ve a roundtable piece due in February anyway.
