    This movie. You got Lugosi putting his bid in for the whiniest mad scientist in history. You got an ape that clearly, clearly, clearly wants to kill Bela, but for some reason does his bidding through the bulk of the movie. You got me wanting the lead wise cracking reporter dead for his actor’s appearance in a previous flick, not to mention this one. And then you have that ending, which is either hilarious or insulting.

    That this isn’t the rock bottom of Lugosi ‘s acting career is a sad statement on said career.

  • It was certainly an interesting picture. I’d really like to see the in-name-only sequel, which adds Mr. Carradine to the mix!
