Waka! Waka! Waka!

Ok, ok, I get it! Walkies.

Yes. I don’t know that I’d call it a spoof. It does have a humorous side, like most movies, but it’s not an outright comedy or anything. At least as I remember it, anyway.

I was thinking it was The Brain, but for some reason I had thought you’d done that already and was trying to figure out what it was. But, yeah, no mistaking it up close.

I saw it a couple of times on TMC in high school. I agree with Ken that it’s not a spoof; I think it’s just such an odd premise that you’d assume it’d be done that way. I don’t recall much intentional humor, honestly; it’s pretty serious throughout, and even grim at times. I will say that the brain eating a woman prior to its transformation into the form above comes off silly-looking, but we do get a nicely done, if bloodless, axe decapitation.

I haven’t seen it since, so I’d be curious to see how it held up. It wasn’t any kind of classic, but I recall liking it more than not.
