    It’s Mammoth Kong, a monster from an old Japanese TV show called Gekko Kamen.

  • Thanks, Ken! And I can now see yet another reason to wish the Japanese spoke English as their first language. (Not that I really needed any more convincing, Megaloman pretty much had me.)

    Just looking at it, I knew it was from a Japanese television show, but I’ve never heard of this one.  Now I am intrigued.

    The best thing about the show is that in some shots they use marionettes as normal people to make Mammoth Kong look big. You don’t see that very often.
