Was there a theme this week?

My comment sans link was that this monster always reminds me of Warren the Ape from “Greg the Bunny”.

Ahhhh, first monster in about a month Ken has posted where I’ve actually seen the movie. Gee, I’m wondering at which point I need to turn in my B-movie fan card.

Love in the movie the fact that if the humanoid aliens had used a old-fashioned door with bars on it in the prison instead of a high-tech force field the evil alien wouldn’t have escaped as soon as the power went out.

since the evil alien is only about a foot high I spent the whole movie, even as a kid, failing to be frightened by it.

What movie is this from?  I wish they would put the movie titles under the pictures.

The Phantom Planet.  Rather nicely riffed by MST3K.

The part where the hero’s co-pilot went drifting off helplessly into deep space was the most scary part for me when I saw it as a kid.
Still the best part. Other than that, Yeah, It’s a riff fest.
