Over the years, I’d have to say it’s become one of the higher-ranked G-films on my personal list (and it started pretty high up the first time I saw it, too). It’s been too long since I’ve seen this. Time to dig through my old tapes and find it. Ericb This guy is nice example of a monster that manages to be both imaginative in design and yet simple enough to be iconic. Flangepart The eyes have it. No, seriously those nasty peepers are part of the cool factor for Hedora. That’s true of all kaiju, though. When talks off the hook, give ’em the look. Ericb He kind of reminds me of one of those blobby beasties the were frequently featured on the old Outer Limits. I wonder if that show influenced Hedorah’s design.
