For some reason, I have a soft spot for the original. Probably because of Warwick, who seems to be having a ball, and the appearance of a pre-“Friends” Jennifer Aniston, which always gets fun reactions from people who’ve never seen it. It’s not great, but I find it to be a fun bit of cheese. The death by pogo stick and melting leprechaun are probably the highlights.
I’ve seen bits of all but one of the sequels, none of which made me want to watch them in their entirety.

Off subject, I would like to mention the passing of Micheal Gough. He starred in many Hammer horror films. He will be most remembered for playing Alfred in 2 good Batman movies and 2 crappy Batman movies.

I always remember him from the British King Kong knock off (Konga?) I assume because it was the first film I ever saw him in when I was a wee one and started recognizing actors.
