Monster of the Day #125

Step, step, turn and….JAZZ HANDS!

Update: Adding second pic, since the first doesn’t show how he has a giant eye in his pelvis.  Maybe it’s supposed to be a belt buckle, but I doubt it.

Wow, not only an exposed brain but an exposed circulatory system to boot.

  • Reed

Is that thing around its exposed brain supposed to be a radiant cooling system of some kind? An antenna to pick up satellite transmissions? A bug zapper?

I have no idea what movie this is from.

  • Ah, Starman. Nothing like 1960s Japanese weirdness.

  • BeckoningChasm

I think Dr. Freex has this guy on his website. His sadly neglected website, that is.

  • Yes, it’s mysterious how people just stop posting reviews.

  • Rock Baker

Evil Brain From Outer Space. Words can’t describe it. (But it is alarmingly well-constructed when one considers it was patched together from three unrelated storylines!)

I find Attack From Space to be the most fun of the four Starman adventures, mostly due to a nearly two reel long frenzied fight scene between Starman and an evil army on a space platform. After that one, even Evil Brain From Outer Space seems dull!

Hey, my eyes are up he–oh, wait… never mind.

  • John Nowak

I’ve got to say this is one of my favorites, from any era.

It’s a guilty pleasure. On one side, it’s jaw-dropping and inane. On another, you feel bad laughing at just because everyone involved tried so hard to make it not suck.

  • The Rev.

I really need to see these at some point. All I know is, I really like this guy in terms of creativity and originality. He’s kind of scary looking…except for the giant eye.

“Yes, it’s mysterious how people just stop posting reviews.”

LOL…I need a cold beer after humor that dry!
