    Watching Irwin Allen’s 60s Sci-fi TV shows makes one truly appreciate Star Trek and Doctor Who.

    The first season of LiS was far better than what followed, at least in terms of lacking camp. But it contained a lot of crap, too, like that chimp with the ears (Debbie the Bloop) and Will’s statement that they must be somewhere between the asteroid belt and the Andromeda galaxy. Yeah, that narrows it down.

    I think the latter, color seasons must have led directly to Sid and Marty Kroft. Plus more drugs and a felt factory.

    That said, I really like Jonathan Harris.

    I have to admit, I didn’t expect this one! Closest thing to this I’d a thought might pop in were the Vegimen from Invasion of the Star Creatures. And poor Stanley! I’ll bet he felt that stint as King Kaliwani the previous year was high art after this little adventure!
