Great review for upcoming Kingdom of the Spiders DVD…

Sounds like a keeper. Out Jan 20th.  Nice to know there are still exciting DVDs in our future.

    I just watched that one on TV last week. It’s thoroughly ridiculous.

    I first saw this when it was broadcast on tv on one of the major networks’ “movie of the week” so I always though that it was a tv movie rather than a theatrical release.

    Oh, cool! This is one of the first monster movies I ever watched, along with “Empire of the Ants”.

    Hey, you, in the back — stop laughing! I mean it, dangit! HBO in the late 70’s was great!

    I have caught up with Empire recently, and it is pretty bad, but in a fun way (mostly), especially when the queen is involved. Sounds like Kingdom might be just as fun.

  • It’s a great group movie. They play it fairly regularly at B-Fest, and it’s always a big hit.
